What Youll Do:Product Operations BI (Business Intelligence) team provides solutions to complex data problems using BI and AI/ML techniques and collaborates across supply chain functions. We are looking for an Inspiring leader who shares our vision and drives BI/AI projects using an out-of-the-box approach.In this role, as a Data Scientist, you will understand the business problems and challenges, lead in data collection and data pipelining, clean/process/transform data sets, apply AI/ML models, highlight insights, etc., and will own the technical discussion, and implementation of projects related to Product Operations areas. Youll help us evaluate new and emerging technologies and determine applicability to current and future AI/ML projects.You will partner with business architects to design new business capabilities, help drive transformation projects to completion, and define system technical use cases and architecture specifications in alignment with business requirements or needs.You should have familiarity with Supply chain processes and technical knowledge of BI and AI-Powered applications. You will be working closely with business partners and IT to implement end-to-end BI/AI solutions.You will be responsible for driving key BI advance simulation projects and enabling user adoption.Who Youll Work WithYoull be part of the Product & Component Operations Business Intelligence team who will be working with the IT, SCT (Supply Chain Transformation) & cross-functional teams (within and outside the Supply chain) to drive end-to-end BI and AI/ML programs.Who You areYou are energetic with the ability to empower and encourage others and with a passion for data, highly organized curiosity, and a hands-on approach to dig in, explore, understand, and make sense of data. You are eager to learn and apply new methods and standard methodologies.Youve got a proven background in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning system architecture, design, implementation, and deployment. You have knowledge of software development background on open-source cloud technologies and application platforms and are a strategic problem solver (system level) that can look at the big picture, abstract workflows, and provide technical assistance in technology to be used at the strategic level. If so, were looking for you!Required Skills : Bachelor / Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent Background in statistics and machine learning is required, preferably with 5+ years of proven experience in AI/ML or related fields 5+ years of experience in building large scale, high performance, ML/DL based systems and strong Computer Science skills (algorithms, data structures) 2+ years of experience with the databases: Snowflake, Oracle, and the ability to write SQL queries 2+ years of experience in the BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, etc.) Working experience with building ML models, Neural Networks, or any Deep Learning techniques Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, operations research, statistical analysis, and optimization algorithms Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from varying sources Fluency and facility with one or more of the following programming languages: Python Proficiency in wrapping ML models into APIs and deploying them on the cloud; Google Cloud Platform experience Knowledge of tools such as SPARK, TensorFlow, Microservices, Kafka, HDFS, HBase Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of internal technology teams and business teams Strong in facilitation, collaboration & team building, influencing & negotiation, trust-building, enabling consensus and decision-making Knowledge of supply chain processes Added advantage 2+ Years of experience with R and Java Deep knowledge of maths, probability, statistics, and algorithms Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and libraries (like sci-kit-learn) Ability to define and construct a complete pipeline for ML/AI solutions: idea generation, use case definition/feasibility/proof of concept, dataset creation/processing/cleaning, feature engineering, model building/improvement/selection/tuning, production deployment#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses.
