Neustar enables trusted connections between companies and people at the moments that matter the most, with world-class and industry leading solutions in Marketing, Risk, Communications, Security and Registry services.The Release Manager is responsible for Agile Scrum and Kanban Team management, scheduling, coordination, planning, reporting and oversight.This position also responsible for governing the change management.Job Duties (Summary)Responsible for the Agile process that drives smooth delivery of complex Products or Solutions, within one of Neustar Service program teams. Work closely with internal / external stakeholders across the organization to ensure team alignment and consistent delivery. Participate and support the overall Scaled Agile SAFe Program Increment (PI) Agile Release Train (ART).

  • Work closely with Engineering, Testing, Operations, Product Management and Release Train Engineers (RTE).
  • Lead the Agile process to plan and deliver complex multi solution applications and key customer deliverables.
  • Provide epic estimated delivery schedules to achieve roadmap deliverables with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Manage the daily standups, sprint planning and change management.
  • Constantly encourage teams to deliver minimal viable products (MVP) over larger full solution deployment.
  • Drives automation of all involved processes
  • Clearly communicate and keep track of milestones and status for change Management reporting to leadership.
  • Manage and track team risks and internal and external dependencies.
  • Be a change agent to drive the adoption of Agile and JIRA to support process improvements.
  • Champion of process improvement and how best to instill Agile best practices within the organization.
  • Acts with sense of urgency, takes pride in following through on commitments and executing as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Ability to recommend action improvements, advocate for change, actively seek and bring new knowledge to the broader team and then lead implementation.
  • Responsible for running change advisory board meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.
  • Maintain and document a release plan and manages key information such as release procedures, dependencies, and notifications.
  • Responsible for promoting changes from lower to higher environments.
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
Qualifications/Education
  • 5 years experience working in a Release management and Scrum Master role.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scaled Agile SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment (CI/CD), DevOps or DevSecOps teams
  • User story mapping experience.
  • Basic awareness of Scaled Agile SAFe framework.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Servicenow, Salesforce and Confluence etc.).
  • Automation: Experience in working with modern programing languages (Python/ruby/java/go) and using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible/Chef/Puppet to accomplish infrastructure automation
  • Experience implementing innovation principles and practices.
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must.
