    Sales Account Executive - Navy/Marine CorpsPosting Location : Location US-VA-RemotePosting date 3 days ago(5/25/2022 4:34 AM)Job ID 95533 Workday ID R-023914 About the job The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a U.S. Navy and Marine Corps focused Sales Account Executive to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for positioning and cross-selling Red Hat s solutions and services, while also expanding our accounts with key customers. You ll be required to work closely with Product Engineering, Professional Services, and Product Support teams to ensure a premium customer experience with Red Hat s offerings. As a Sales Account Executive, you ll need to have customer-facing sales skills and deep technical knowledge of enterprise software, including operating systems, virtualization, middleware deployments, and cloud computing, as well as established relationships within the accounts covered. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do
    • Lead the sales actions for your territory with passion, attention to detail, and focus on the customer
    • Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs, and offices to persuade toward buying Red Hats solutions
    • Manage the account planning process and delivery of these strategic plans
    • Serve as a trusted adviser for senior IT and business executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships with customers
    • Develop new strategies for our offerings within key accounts to establish proofs of concepts and pilot implementations of Red Hats core competencies
    • Work closely with the Product, Product Engineering, Professional Services, and Product Support teams to ensure excellent customer experience with Red Hats solutions
    What you will bring
    • 7+ years of field and solutions B2B sales experience; 5+ years of experience focused on the Department of Defense (DoD), especially the U.S. Navy
    • Working knowledge of U.S. Marine Corps acquisition and procurement organizations and key decision makers and stakeholders
    • Hold at least a Secret Clearance or be able to obtain clearance at that level at minimum
    • Proven record of working closely with customers to produce solutions that exceed their business expectations
    • Extensive background in consultative customer engagement with either a major provider of enterprise software or within the sales division of an enterprise software reseller
    • Record of working closely with customers to produce solutions that exceed their business expectations
    • Broad experience with the government acquisition process
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large companies
    • Solutions selling mindset and ability to work in an environment with multiple offerings and services
    • Proven ability to work seamlessly with global cross-functional teams to achieve success for customers
    • Excellent balance of strategic and tactical skills
