Job Description

• Lead the Data Analytics delivery teams adhering to stipulated schedule, budget and quality levels.
• Drive data strategy and process from demand management to design to implementation, using end-to-end CI/CD data pipelines
• Project management responsibilities, while leveraging past hands-on experience throughout the end-to-end data lifecycle (data injection, data refinement & engineering, analysis and visualization)
• Define acceptance criteria, pipelines, review design, code, pipelines and other deliverables by your team to guarantee high-quality results
• Own the delivery & status of Change requirements throughout the lifecycle & adapt changes to the existing scripts, codes and pipelines.
• Responsible for team management and team s competency, and for providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your Data teams, by setting priorities and accomplishing goals
• Maintain and review service and delivery metrics (KPIs) that identify the success of the deliverables, and bring continuous improvements to improve metrics.
• Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholders needs and requirements continuously in view
• Act as a trusted advisor to our internal partners (Business Units and IT teams), and proactively communicate operational status, issues & risks in the projects to management
• Lead internal consulting engagements, managing stakeholder expectations (Business Units) and driving quality of deliverables.
• Align and appropriately use Mercedes-Benz IT project management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies
• Bring value-add by creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through PoCs, encourage best practices, challenge current practices, provide feedback to team & colleagues.
• Monitor budgets, consolidate the actuals and drive the spend across the service lines, and raise timely alerts regarding budget deviations.
• Be active in communities of Data and IT practitioners
, *Mandatory Requirements
• Total 13-15 years of Experience with minimum 3 years of experience in managing data analytics lifecycle projects, from data engineering to analytics to visualization.
• Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent, preferably certified in project management
• Experience in project management, delivery planning, talent & resource management and team management
• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Storage accounts, Notebooks, data analytics tools, visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Hands-on experience with DWH, ETL/ELT process, ETL tools, relational DB or MPP, and exposure to query tuning and performance tuning
• Expertise in Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, NoSQL databases, etc.
• Good knowledge of data architecture patterns (Data lakehouse, delta lake, streaming, Lambda/Kappa architecture)
• Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD including deploying a range of data engineering pipelines into production, and testing techniques
• Agile development experience
• Strong in presentation, communication (written and verbal English), and interpersonal skills and comfortable in liaising with stakeholders independently
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment
• Desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets, and drive team s potential
• Exposure to client facing roles both from IT and Business
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Project
• Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment
Preferred Experience and Skills
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
• Trained in Data Factory, Delta lake, Databricks Notebooks
• Working experience in an international team environment
