Job Description

    Role Description:As part of Sales, youll be responsible for consulting with C-Level executives and helping them understand how APIwiz can help improve productivity and reduce total cost of ownership. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing SaaS company and help shape and scale the sales organization. Were looking for sharp, energetic and detail-oriented people who are passionate about implementing solutions that transform the status quo. This individual will be in a key client-facing role and take ownership of all revenue generation for the entire company: building, managing and developing a high-performance SaaS sales team; creating a methodical, data driven sales process; filling and driving the sales pipeline; and closing enterprise-level deals across all industry verticals.Location: BangaloreResponsibilities:Drive sales, aggressively expand the customer base and generate new revenueEngage with prospects to understand their unique and specific pain points and produce compelling business cases to meet their needsContact potential prospects from personally-generated research to build a robust sales pipelineCommunicate strategy to relevant team-membersDeliver product demos to leads and trial usersSupport marketing efforts to bring engaged prospects onto product demoCollaborate with internal product teams and provide feedback from the field to help shape future developmentWork closely with the Leadership Team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectivesQualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceA strong B2B SaaS sales and/or customer success experienceTrack record of selling significant net new business.Organised and able to multitaskExceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skillsa must (comfortable presenting alone in front of large groups)Having asoftware engineering backgroundand/or experience selling developer tools is a big plus
    • 5+ years as a Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect
    • Great communication and presentation skills with the ability to present and interact with groups varying in size and roles
    • Proven ability to quickly ramp on new technologies and architectures
    • Experience working with any API Management platform like Apigee, Kong, Azure, Mulesoft, etc.
    • Hands-on familiarity with middleware, web services technologies, microservice patterns, and security standards (oAuth, SAML)
    • Good hands-on development experience with Java and good background on other languages like JavaScript, Python, PHP
    • Experience building and delivering proofs of concept (PoCs) independently and effectively
    • The ability to lead architecture discussions around deployment topologies, scaling & performance & sizing
    • The ability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours with prospects in different geographies & time zones and with a distributed team
