Job Description

    OverviewLeaf Round was founded with a cool vision to give peeps access to different high-yield investment-grade fixed-income products. But how do we make it happen So, get this: in 2022, the formal lending sector only served less than 15% of the INR 69.3 trillion credit demand from SMEs. And the demand for credit is growing at a CAGR of 11.5%. Thats why we need alternative funding sources, yo! We gotta fill this gap and boost the economic growth of the nation.Thats where Leaf Round comes in! We create fresh and innovative funding routes for SMEs, so they can get the credit they need in different forms. At the same time, retail investors can score some sweet high-yield and fixed returns.Weve already launched two dope products:
    1. Asset leasing: SMEs can raise fast capital by transferring ownership of their fixed asset CAPEX to retail investors and paying monthly rentals.
    2. Invoice Discounting: SMEs can get short-term capital against their B2B corporate invoices, repaying post 30-90 days.
    So, check it out! You get to drive the development of the interfaces that help businesses and investors use our products. Cool, right We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager who is great at closing financing (lending or leasing) deals with SMEs, SME marketplaces and other strategic partners. If you think you fit the bill, we want you to work with us on building the foundations of our high-value partnerships.What will you do
    • Proactively seek new sales opportunities through outbound emails, cold calls, and warm calls on a daily basis.
    • Work closely with the CBO and investment team to create a strong pipeline of potential clients.
    • Travel to meet with strategic partners such as B2B sales heads of OEMs, distributors, SME marketplaces, and House of Brands pan India.
    • Initiate financing deals with these partners, wherein Leaf Round will provide leasing, invoice discounting, or any other offerings launched going forward.
    • Expand the deal funnel by taking constant feedback from the investment team.
    • Work closely with the investment team to close the loop on initiated deals.
    • Accomplish monthly targets in terms of deal pipeline building.
    What youll bring
    • A strong belief in the companys mission to provide financing solutions for SMEs.
    • 1-3 years of experience as an Inside Sales Manager in a bank, NBFC or lending Fintech company, with knowledge of business finance, including capex and working capital financing.
    • A network of 100+ connections with SMEs, business communities, and potential strategic partners.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to sell Leaf Rounds offerings.
    • A desire to understand various business models, create impact for them via alternative financing sources, and expand their professional network.
    • Passionate about our vision to solve the huge credit gap in SMEs.
    Bonus points if you have
    • Prior work experience in the initial team of B2B sales, preferably B2B lending.
    • Prior work experience in startups, especially early-stage ones.
