Job Description

SAP S4 Technology Lead - User Experience Job DescriptionResponsibilities for This Role Include:

  • Lead design, development, integration, implementation, QA, and maintenance of web applications in S/4 Hana Enterprise Portal using iViews, Adobe Interactive Forms, pages, worksets, and roles, etc.
  • Create simple and efficient SAP Enterprise Portal themes, layouts, and desktops using the Theme Editor and NetWeaver Developer Studio
  • Use best-in-class user experience and design thinking concepts to create web applications for S/4 Hana at an enterprise scale
  • Requires heavy interaction with senior business and technical leaders to understand processes and design intuitive solutions that resonate with technical and business stakeholders
  • Convert legacy SAP websites/themes into modern, efficient, predictive web solutions
  • Create functional specification documents that require development of WRICEF (Workflow Reports Interfaces Conversion Enhancement and Form) objects
  • Oversee solving complex business problems by creating IT solutions in consultation with business partners, architects, and other stakeholders
  • Operate in close partnership with the IT and business communities, subject matter experts, external consultants, cross functional teams, add-ons, etc.
  • Prepare operational readiness and production cutover efforts with HyperCare
  • Advise business partners on the implications of standard or new SAP solutions that can be applied to a problem
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years IT experience in End-user industry or IT consulting or Systems Integrators or with IT Product
  • Minimum of 7 years in user experience design at an enterprise scale
  • Or Post graduate diploma/ MBA with specialization in Finance and/or IT from an institution
  • Experience with Fiori Architecture and ABAP/Fiori development using SAP WebIDE or Eclipse, SAP NetWeaver Gateway constructing the presentation layer using HMTL, JSON, HANA Cloud Platform, UI/UX and JavaScript programming
  • Experience with HTML5/REST/ OData Protocols, Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery and XML technologies
  • Excellent Java programing skills and worked on Portal Development Kit experience using ABAP and/or Java and JEE
  • Experience with Responsive Web design and related mobile technologies
  • Processing and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery & NodeJS (required)
  • Experience in web services integration via SOAP, REST, XML, XSL, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, WSDL, Json, OData, etc.
  • Hands-on experience on Portal Application Development, JAVA WebDynpro, NWDS, NWDI, JavaScript, SAP UI5, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, REST API, OData, Gateway, JQuery, XML, XSL, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, WSDL, SAP FIORI/UX, AJAX, Business Packages, Mobility, SAP Screen Personas
  • SAP configuration experience with considerations for Enterprise Master Data structures, Sales Order Types, Item Categories, Listing & Exclusions
  • Experience in IT capabilities for functional areas e.g. Supply Chain/Logistics, Order-to-Cash, Procurement
  • SAP S/4 HANA global implementation experience or next generation business transformation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills and be a constructive challenger
  • Experience working in global setup with peers, leaders & teams across geographies
  • Training & certification in SAP Functional modules and user experience design techniques
