Functional Overview :We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis person with strong PaPM product knowledge & experience.Key Stakeholders:PaPM project manager, Infrastructure project team, head of Infrastructure AspireDetailed Responsibilities:

  • Provide PaPM technical architecture recommendation in terms of BASIS operations.
  • Act as an SME for PaPM application and infrastructure related issues.
  • Planning System Landscape and planning systems on Maintenance Planner
  • S/4 HANA Installation, Configuration, SPS Upgrade, Kernel Upgrade, Troubleshooting
  • S/4 HANA Administration, Backup and Recovery
  • SAP Solution Manager 7.2 Installation, configuration, commissioning and decommissioning of systems, managed system configuration, SLD bridging, monitoring setup
  • SAP HANA Cockpit Administration, Backup schedules
  • Fiori Installation, Fiori Launchpad Configuration (single client and multi-client configuration), Fiori Apps Mass Activation
  • Fiori Easy Access Menu End-to-End Configuration
  • Web Dispatcher Installation
  • BW/4 HANA 2.0 configuration and integration
  • PaPM Basis configuration and integration (including the SDA setup)
COMPETENCIESKey Capabilities:
  • Strong understanding of SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture and related SAP products as well as interfaces with other related systems and underlying database technologies; Specifically PaPM
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and HANA Cloud Platform (HCP).
  • Understanding of, and experience with migration concepts and tools.
  • Experienced with SAP, including underlying infrastructure requirements, implementation and operations for traditional SAP.
  • NetWeaver based solutions (both ABAP & JAVA such as Portal, ERP, PI/PO, SSO) and SAP HANA (such as Suite on HANA, BW on HANA, S/4 HANA).
  • Experience in managing a complex SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions (e.g. finance, procurement, T&E) in accordance with SAP and industry best practices.
Key Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, verbal & written and ability to work independently with project teams and manage expectations
  • Strong SAP PaPM technical product knowledge
Qualifications:
  • BS/BE, MBA preferred
  • SAP Certification in at-least one of the relevant modules in S4HANA
