Job Description

As a world leader in the Operations Technology (OT) field, OSI develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide.We have an opening for SCADA Engineer at our India office located in ITPB, Whitefield, Bangalore. However, the work location will be Delhi/Jaipur/ Kolkata. As a SCADA Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Technical support engineer.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve or escalate, and document customer incidents in a timely, efficient and professional manner according to contract maintenance and warranty.
  • Working knowledge on operating systems, hardware, and third-party software on client and server machines.
  • Site Management activities.
  • Actively contributing ideas for better customer service and continuously improve the quality of service provided
  • Showing a passion for continued learning, staying abreast of new technology and trends.
  • Work with other technical teams for the inputs and their support in day to day activities.
, Requirements
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication.
  • Should have minimum of 1-2 years experience in SCADA domain.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, display building, data base creation, commissioning and testing.
  • Must have good knowledge on Communication and SCADA protocols like IEC101, IEC104, MODBUS and DNP
  • Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation.
  • Understanding of single line diagrams (SLD) of substations, I/O list.
  • Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP and routing principles.
  • Knowledge of computer programming.
  • Proficient in MS office Excel
  • Knowledge of computer architectures, networking, databases and operating systems.
  • Ability to work on several requirements from customer
  • Customer Management and technical negotiation skills
  • Should be open to Travel on need basis.
