Job Description

    Job profile
    • Responsible for the performance and results of multiple agile teams and/or product groups across the Engineering organization.
    • Oversees the planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods
    • Provides leadership to agile teams and builds and leads a culture of accountability to meet business objectives and goals.
    • Supervises team(s) and assumes people management responsibilities including, but not limited to, the management of direct reports, and applicable subordinate team members, setting performance objectives, and conducting annual performance reviews.
    • Leads and manages the technical activities of multiple complex software development projects. Establishes operational objectives and plans and delegates assignments to staff members
    • Defines/maintains standards for project management or program operations within the business organization.
    • Oversees the program resource planning, including staffing:
    • Works closely with HR/recruiting function and Hiring Managers to ensure role requirements are satisfied;
    • Manges the oversight of the program/business financials including:
    • Tracks/Reports actual cost;
    • Manages annual/quarterly forecast process
    • Establishes/refines/maintains program operations standards
    • Facilitates cross team communication
    • Establishes cadence around monthly/quarterly executive level reporting
    The job responsibilities may be adjusted to reflect the business group s organizational and functional requirementsManages a function of a bus group s bus ops and/or program management function(s) including the management of related projects, resource, forecast process, tracking revenue and costs to ensure meeting the organization s goals and objectives.Provides financial and operational reporting to the business/program leadershipPrioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneouslyManages the project activities and deliverables, including manages schedules, financials, and project change requestsExecutes resource planning, by managing staffing and/or resources deployment process ensuring all needs are thorough and within budgetMentors and develops team membersLeads and manages other special projects as necessary Qualification Bachelor s Degree with 12 yrs exp OR o Master s degree and 10 yrs of prof exp4-6 yrs exp in a Program/ Project Mgt, Business Analyst, or Project Admin role4-6 years related industry experience in IT, Insurance and/or Project ManagementAdditional experience may be required depending on the business group s functionStrong leadership skills and ability to manage a local and offshore teamStrong time and priority management skills to drive expected outcomes, and works effectively with tight deadlines,
