• The primary focus of this role is to develop and manage applications involved with search system.
• Maintain and upgrade search indices for large document repositories, as well as optimizing indexing/queries and supporting analytics activities.
• Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions.
• Work closely with development teams, qa teams, architects, Project manager to design, develop, unit test, debug and maintain IDOL and Luciworks Fusion based search applications.Participate in production deployment and aid application support group when needed.

• Experience 4-6 years Required Skills:
• 4+ years of IT experience in related field.
• 2 + years of experience Search systems either vended or open source search engines such as Lucidworks Fusion, Apache Solr, IDOL, Lucene, IBM Watson or Elasticsearch.
• 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following PERL, Python, Lua, Bash/Shell
• Experience with Enterprise Git, GitHub, Jenkins, or related development build and deploy tools.
• Experience working in Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or experience in closely related field Desired Skills:
• Experience with some or all of Apache, JBoss / Tomcat, or other application servers.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory Pro, SonarQube, Selenium, Jmeter, and so forth).
• Understanding or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles.
• Exposure to Spark.
• Knowledge of Load testing as well as troubleshooting and production support.
• Experience with very large data sets and high traffic deployments
