Job Description

    Responsibilities Updating, managing and running current reporting processes and systems, particularly relating to SAS Reviewing output, populating templates and investigating defects Investigating and providing explanation of DQI fails and reconciliation variances Updating issues log Becoming an SME for source and golden source systems Working with the business data owners / stewards to understand requirements and implement future controls Working in line with internal control and governance practice Awareness and understanding of business impact of DQIs for BCBS239 and criticality on operation for any related failures Supporting data quality reviews with asset managers, owners and their data stewards. Developing current SAS reports Working to automate current monthly reports Managing relationships with key data owners / stewards in order to improve data quality reporting Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications Graduation Degree or equivalent level qualification Preferred Qualifications/ Skills A working knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide / SQL is essential Excellent experience in using Microsoft Office applications Retail / Corporate banking experience Basic understanding of banking products such as loans, mortgages, current and savings accounts Understanding of reporting requirements within the Banking industry A good understanding of the role that data quality plays in a business and the need to get it right Knowledge of data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy or Qlikview is desirable,
