Our custom designed office is in the heart of leafy Jayanagar close to shops, parks and a metro station (which we will re-open only when it is safe to do so).We are looking for passionate Automation Engineers to join our close knit teams of cloud, data, digital and devops consultants.You will be involved in :
• Implementing cloud solutions for clients, including cloud infrastructure, cloud data platforms and cloud migration strategies, across AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Working with clients to coach and share our solutions and approaches.
• Building out and mentoring on Continuous Integration and Delivery, using modern tools such as (but not limited to): Terraform, GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Maintain accreditations with one or more of our key partners: Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Hashicorp.
• Facilitate professional development of junior staff and wider team demonstrating leadership skills
• Engage and communicate with clients and stakeholders at all levels
• Consulting to clients in automation and migration strategy and execution
Your core experience :
• Strong automation skills in Python / Perl / Shell (any two)
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g. Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS Cloud Formation etc)
• In depth experience with implementing at least one configuration management system (e.g. Chef, Ansible, Puppet etc).
• Practical experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service.
• Opinionated views on DevOps principles and implementation
• Experience or certifications with Azure, AWS or GCP is a plus
• Experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker or Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience in stakeholder and client management
• Product or business management.
• Atleast 6+ years of experience with qualified project outcomes
Other desirable skills:
• Project Management skills as applied to medium to large size projects, including Risk Management skills.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs
• Exposure to different ways of working (Agile, ITIL)
• Interest in Security and SecOp
• Passion to learn and grow with talented like-minded peers
• Strong communication skills
