We are dedicated to serving our customers with the best digitally enabled solutions to meet their needs quickly and reliably, while providing the support of a global service network.This is a Senior Bids & Proposal Engineer role, reporting to Engineering Manager INOPC and you will be part of India Operations Centre, Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) and will be based in Bangalore.Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for selection of analytical products like gas analyzers & process gas chromatograph.
  • Understanding of tender documents/ requisitions (RFQ) and specifications for analytical products & systems, preparation of techno commercial offer.
  • Tendering including analysis of technical specifications, preparing comments/deviations, estimating time, risk identification etc.
  • Interacting with customers/ consultants on technical requirements.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • B.E/ B.Tech (Instrumentation/ Chemical) from a reputed university.
  • Minimum 5-7 Years of relevant work experience in field instrumentation products.
  • Technical Expertise on analytical product & systems i.e. Gas Analyzers & Process Gas Chromatograph.
  • Knowledge on International standards like EPA, TUV, Mcerts, etc.
  • ISA, API, ANSI/ASME, ISO, IEC and PIP.
  • Shell design and engineering practice (DEPs).
  • PDO engineering standards and procedures.
  • Exposure to process industries: Oil & Gas, Water, Minerals, Power, Pulp, Paper etc.
  • Exposure on International commercial terms (INCOTERMS 2020).
