• Should have 7 - 10 years of extensive experience in Performance Testing and Engineering projects.
• Should own overall responsibility of Performance Engineering and Performance Testing Tasks for engaged projects -including strategy, estimation, planning, execution oversight, metrics reporting and risk management.
• Understanding the non-functional requirements from business, analysing the critical business scenarios, analysing the service level agreement objectives, developing the test scripts, improving the scripts by crafting/implementing -Parameterization, Checkpoints, Transactions, Reusable functions, Correlations, Actions/Blocks, Iterations, Pacing, Think Time, Designing workload model, Test Execution, Test monitoring, analysing the test results & preparing the test report.
• Should have experience in testing web-based and client-server applications with expertise in performance test strategy creation, scripting, test execution, test analysis, monitoring and profiling.
• Should define metrics for the testing and validation process to communicate status of testing as well as coverage and robustness for a given project.
• Should have experience in creating performance test plans incorporating non-functional requirements and developing workload models.
• Should be proficient in requirement gathering, analysing the requirements and preparing test strategy, test design, performing test execution and defect management processes.
• Should be proficient in using MF LoadRunner& MF PC Tool for generating test script [Protocols - web(http/html), webservices, TruClient Web, TruClient Mobile], test execution, optimizing, monitoring, profiling and analysing the results with comprehensive report generation.
• Should have conceptual understanding of scripting and extensive experience in improving test scripts to cover comprehensive business use case using manual correlations, parameterization, assertions, string manipulations, custom coding etc.
• Extensive experience in conducting various performance tests like load, stress, endurance, bandwidth, network latency testing and deriving insights from these tests.
• Should have hands-on experience with JMeter & Gatling tool setup, scripting, execution and results collation.
• Should have good knowledge and hands-on experience on application performance management, server logs and infrastructure monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk, App Dynamics, JConsole, Visual VM, JRockit mission control, GC viewer, MAT, Fast Thread, jStack, Jmap, JProfiler to locate, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks in enterprise applications.
• Should have experience in JVM heap and GC tuning, instrumenting JMX-Thread pool optimization, heap dump and thread dump analysis, Process CPU usage, Memory leak detection,
• Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills; with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Should be committed, result oriented, hard working with a quest and zeal to learn new technologies, take up exciting tasks in the project and explore new initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills with outstanding customer service approach.
