Job Description

Manager/ Senior Consultant Manufacturing Execution ConsultantLIThe opportunityEY is looking for Manager/ Senior Consultant Manufacturing Execution ConsultantYour key responsibilities

  • To guide customer and technical teams on design and implementation of manufacturing execution functionality in new-age technical architecture of Industrial IoT implementations for Smart Factories.
  • Develop strong functional designs of digital processes related to production plan execution and tracking, production quality, asset management, inventory management, warehouse management, track and trace - adapted for Industrie4.0 design.
  • Implement cutting edge solutions, with or without 3rd party hardware and software, after evaluation of specific customer scenarios.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Functional consulting around MES implementations. This should be combined with a strong technical knowledge of the data structures and processes defined in Purdue/ISA 95 model.
  • Implementation of bespoke IT applications - workflows and analytics to implement operational excellence.
  • Integration of plant/warehouse equipment with Planning/Scheduling, SAP, Maximo, SCM, Track and Trace systems, Quality systems
  • Production and Yield tracking, Downtime and OEE tracking and analysis
  • Barcode / RFID / BLE based tracking, logistics and inventory tracking,
  • Sensor/IoT based equipment condition monitoring, quality monitoring and analytics,
  • Mobile based workflows for maintenance and field services
  • Implementing IoT solutions with Operational Technology (OT) and the application of advanced digital and analytic technology in OT environments - process and control systems, material handling systems, SCADA, DCS, etc. - will be a strong positive.
  • Integration of equipment/process data from plant Historians - ingestion, storage, dashboards, and messaging in standard cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, IBM, Thingworx, will be a strong positive.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • A relevant graduate or post graduate degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementation and supporting manufacturing execution system functionality. Functional leadership roles IT system development in manufacturing environments of process / discrete / batch manufacturing
Ideally you ll also have
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
