Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform data quality controls assessment, identify gaps and perform required data remediations
  • Conceptualize data requirements and design required data models Understand data requirement documentation and define mapping between logical data model and physical data model
  • Collaborating with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure that business data requirements are fulfilled by the proposed solution Coordinate with technical team to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Providing support during project development testing
  • Database tuning andor administration in non-production environments
  • Plan and execute the required data migration activities

Skills

Must have

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in large-scale projectsprograms with significant change impact and multiple dependencies within and across organizational boundaries.

  • LineageBusiness RulesData Quality Rules Data Standards
  • Excellent knowledge in financial market and financial products is a must
  • Report Types - Gap AnalysisProblem AnalysisCompleteness Dashboards

  • Sound knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
  • Working knowledge of database migration activities
  • Strong query language skills (SQL, ETL, Hive, HBASE etc.)
  • Fluency with data dictionary concepts in Financial Markets domain.
  • Experience in AgileScrum practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Trade Processing systems like Murex etc. is desirable.
  • Good analytical, organization and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload within a busy environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
