Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop data analytics platform on top of existing Scala based enterprise products.
  • Analyze and optimize existing products.
  • Explore and introduce machine learning libraries and tools to improve existing product features.
  • Interact with Business Analysts and product owners to convert business requirements into technical designs
  • Design and implement efficient data processing workflows

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise level application development
  • 3+ years of experience as data engineer
  • Extensive experience with any of the tools like Spark, Hadoop, Storm and Kafka
  • Working knowledge on Python or Scala (an added advantage)
  • Good analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with design and development of Scalable and Distributed systems
  • Experience in Design and Development of Data Analytics platform for enterprise applications
  • Take the initiative, share ideas, and improve existing systems and processes
  • Experience working within AgileScrum development
  • Ready to take ownership and be accountable for the results
  • An in depth knowledge of SQL
