Apply now!Summary and Role InformationSAP Procurement Product Team is looking for a senior Java developer to join a new team working on Supplier Risk which will work on integrating the Supplier Risk capabilities into the procurement process, as well as enhancing the scoring capabilities. This individual will be a key member of the team working to design, build this exciting aspect of the product as well as work as a mentor to other members of the team.Role infromationWork closely with team comprised of Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Quality Engineers within a global agile team.Use a variety of computer programming languages, software tools, and software development environments to build state of the art intelligent applications.Stay updated on new and upcoming technologies and SAP standards.Stay abreast of emerging standards and technology stack decisions, and emerging technologies becoming standard in the Ariba micro service architecture.Gain complex product functionality and architecture knowledge and continue to build upon it.Analyze internal development process and make recommendations for changes.Produce design documents for assigned application features/enhancements.Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity and estimation of required work.Work as a member of an Agile scrum team applying best practicesDesign, develop and test software to support the evolving Supplier Risk productServe as mentor to other Developers, review designs, code, schemas, and SQL to verify accuracy, efficiency and if meets requirements.Drive innovation through collaborative design of the entire technology stackExperienceBE/BTech/MTech/MCA (full time) from Premier Universities7-11 years of development experience in object-oriented applications development working at a software company.Must be able to demonstrate strong Java programming skills and Object-Oriented design skills, Full stack experience a plusAbility to provide excellent feedback on colleagues work, proven ability to collaborate with team membersGood understanding of relational databases, and columns store databases and their differences, must be able to demonstrate strong SQL development skillsExperience designing, building and testing REST APIs, micro services experience a plus.Experience building integrations both to internal product and external third partiesHands on professional experience with Spring framework, Angular, JDBCProfessional experience with GIT, Jenkins, test frameworksAbout the teamSAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the worlds leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass.
