Next generation of Cisco MDS switches is adding support for 64G FC speed and beyond. Along with next gen speeds and feeds, MDS switches are also adding increased application workload awareness using analytics and other traffic pattern monitoring infrastructure.Storage group in Data center unit manages all storage product portfolio and have revenue of 400+ Million USD. Entire storage group operates from Bangalore office and has total ownership of product portfolio. The group provides highly energized work environment for learning as well as ensures healthy work life balance. The storage group has a very robust product road map and is poised for transition to next generation of product portfolio.What You ll DoYou have a unique opportunity to design the products from ground up (Platforms and Software). You will have end to end ownership of the product and will be working with principal engineer and senior technical leader within the business unit to design, develop and support feature owned by you. You will have opportunity to work closely with customer support team, product marketing and escalation groups. You will be involved in development of next generation storage switch with increased speed and analytics capability.Who You Are

  • Proficiency in C programming
  • Good understanding of Linux kernel
  • data storage (SCSI, FC) background preferable
  • Having 8+ years of experience with development on embedded systems
  • ability to learn new technologies, take initiative and can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to fast paced, ever-changing, deadline driven work environment
  • Informative background:
  • Master s degree or B.Tech with 8+ years of experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
