senior engineer procurement in bengaluru / bangaloreLeading Auto MNC is looking for Senior Engineer Procurement for Bangalore Location. JD: BE with 6-8 years of experience in procurement of automotive components and safety products. Summary:

  • Responsible for handling complete activities of domestic
  • Ensuring timely availability of parts from supplier.
  • Awareness / Analysis on Automobile market.
  • Needs to have good interaction with Customers (Internal / External).
  • Needs to be a effective team player across CFT s.
  • Proactive Approach on predicting the Schedule variations and communicate the same to appropriate teams well in advance.
  • Engaging customer order planner and marketing for schedule variations.
  • Running MRP reports for all product lines
  • People management and System adherence: TS 16949/14001
  • Responsible for meeting cost targets for Logistics & Packaging.
  • Maximize procurement leverage in the regional market place to obtain the most favorable terms and conditions of purchase
  • Identify risks that can impact supplier delivery and guide the department to develop mitigation plans based on risk and vulnerability analyses on spend areas.
  • Drive cost savings through effective negotiations with materials and logistics service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to department budgets
