Job Description

What you ll achieveAs a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.You will:

  • Implement solutions that meet and/or exceed customer expectations based on customer requirements and services sold
  • Coordinate with Internal and External stakeholders during the life-cycle of a Product or Solution delivery ensuring there is a seamless and smooth implementation of various Service Offerings in the Data Protection discipline
  • Ensure all customer interactions transpire into high CSAT and optimal Time to Value (TTV)
  • Participate in business development and technical pre-sales activities, as required
  • Review SOWs, hand-over / sign-off documents and SOPs
  • Leverage tools systems and processes provided for end-to-end project delivery

  • 7 to 10 years implementation experience in Data Protection and Cyber Recovery
  • Advanced knowledge of Backup, Recovery and De-Duplication technology
  • Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of NetWorker Backup software
  • Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of products in the Dell Data Protection (DPS) Portfolio Avamar, Data Domain, IDPA, PPDM, DPC
  • Advanced IDPA implementation experience with Dell TOR switch knowledge (IDPA 5x, 8x)
  • Backup software integration with most commonly used applications inthe industry (e.g. Backing up MS Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, VMWare)

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Additional language skills preferred
