Job Description

    Develop, improve, verify and sustain Enterprise/cloud based management software for sophisticated internetworking products as a key member of a multi-functional team.Perform design trade-off analysis, write software specifications, code, integrate and test new software and hardware, complete product release, and provide field support.Collaborate with Business Development, External Partners, Hardware Engineering, QA Test and Release Operations throughout the development cycle.Work with Customers on successful deploymentsMentor junior members of the team through design/code reviewsEngage with architecture team to clearly understand the system design and roadmapWrite system functional specificationsWork in the team using agile methodologiesEstimate design and development activitiesCommunicate status against planned breakthroughsWho Youll Work WithSPNAA TeamThe Team is envisioned to be dedicated, Agile and customer focused team. The team will work closely with Product Management, Field SE/TME and other partner teams. The responsibilities will include delivering features over iterations, support PoC/deployments in the field and partner concerns/issues from the customers.As an integral member of this team, you will work with a team of seasoned engineers. You will have the opportunity to test some of the world s largest Service Provider Routers that are continuously evolving towards enabling the support of newer and exciting customer business paradigms.Who You AreThe successful applicant must have a consistent record of designing and developing high quality software products and should possess the following particular skills and experience:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum 9 years of Hands on experience in Architecture, design, develop, deploy in enterprise application development or cloud environmentStrong understanding of Java concept, data structures, algorithms and OS (Linux).Full lifecycle development experience using Java in field of highly scalable, reliable products.Experience in the field of RESTful API s, microservices, distributed architecture.Experience in the KAFKA, TYK distributed architecture.Hands-on exposure to Dockers and Containers related Cloud technologies.Knowledge of Microservice Architecture, on premise infrastructure based virtual appliances will be preferred.Understanding of system design, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, continuous integration and DevOps.Desired SkillsExperience in an Agile environmentExperience in a Fault Management domain.Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jenkins, Docker)Code Analysis (SonarCube, Jacoco)Knowledge in Linux and protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP.,
