Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities :- Collaborate with engineers and business customers to understand data needs, capture requirements, and deliver complete BI solutions.- Accountable for modernization, migration/transformation to a cloud data platform.- Design and build data extraction, transformation, and loading processes by writing custom data pipelines using either cloud native services (AWS/GCP/Azure) or using open source tools (like Airflow and Python)- Design, implement, and support an Enterprise Data platform (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, etc.) that can provide ad-hoc access to large-scale structured, semi-structured, and/or unstructured datasets- Deliver transformative solutions to clients aligned to industry best practices and provide thought leadership in data architecture and engineering.- Communicate data-backed findings to a diverse constituency of internal and external stakeholders.- Build frameworks for data ingestion pipeline both real-time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and hand-off to data engineers.- Participate in technical decisions and collaborate with talented peers.- Review code, implementations and give meaningful feedback that helps others build better solutions.- Helps drive technology direction and choices of technologies by making recommendations based on experience and research.- Additional duties as assigned requirements Experience :- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering or similarly focused roll handling Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field- Experience with ETL, application development, data science, Big Data, reporting, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data sets- Extensive SQL knowledge- Experience with cloud technologies and associated: AWS, S3, EC2, DynamoDB, Aurora, Athena, Glue, Lambda Snowflake, Matillion, AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena), Kafka, Confluent, Starburst, Fivetran, dbt, SQL, Microsoft, SQL Server, Python and Terraform, Python, Java, C++, Scala.- Experience with Enterprise Integration and ETL platforms.,
