The Technical Engineer supports business software in an area of expertise. Technical support and maintenance of platforms or solutions in the business development environment. Addresses customer inquiries, concerns, and issues, finds solutions to problems, and helps users through technical difficulties. Supports development of platform, tools and integration solution with business process. Acts as a technical support expert in the service or solution.Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities:- Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge ofinternal or external business issues to improve the tools services.- Understand the features, functionalities, usage, configuration and management/administration of static code analysis tools Coverity, SonarQube etc- Collect and analyze business demands. Map the requirements to tool functionality and/or usage and provide technical solutions to meet the requirements.- Liaison with Vendor support and engineering to discuss tool architecture/feature roadmaps and technical requirements, clarify issues, provide debug information and gather technical support- Implement Tool Automation for management, reporting and integration with development environments / frameworks.- Contribute as member of IT development/deployment projects by working on development and deployments, service upgrades and automation.Key Competencies:- +5 years hands-on experience with software tools deployment, administration and management on Linux-based environments- Be familiar with different Linux versions (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu)- Well skilled in automation and scripting in Python, Linux Shell Scripting, Rest API etc- Good knowledge of SCM, Build & DevOps frameworks like Github, GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, Zuul, Make, Maven, Gradle,Ant, Azure DevOps, BitBucket etc.- Familiar with static code analysis tools Coverity, SonarQube etc and some key programming languages like C, C++,Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, PHP etc.- Knowledge of one or more Public Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.- Has knowledge of Virtualization & Container technologies including VMs, Docker, Kubernetes etc.,
