This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Data Quality as part of Data & Analytics, which is tasked to develop strategy, define framework and roll out tools for data quality within Data Lake. Drive the cultural change across D&A of embedding DQ by Design and with data providers of creating data first time right.Client Details :- For Unilever to remain competitive in the future, the business needs to continue its path to become data intelligent and have trust on the data.- The Data and Analytics team is responsible for building data, data science and analytics as a core capability to help the business become data intelligent and drive business and organization performance.- The team will deliver advanced products at scale and work closely with the market teams to ensure that decisions in Unilever are augmented with insight & recommendations wherever possible.The Unilever Data Strategy exists for two primary reasons :- To actively organise, govern and manage our Data assets across the business, and To maximise the growth and value that can be delivered through the power of this Data.- Unilever Data Strategy has a clear vision: to help make Unilever Data Intelligent , harnessing the power of data to deliver our Compass Goals. An extensive programme of workstreams was set up as a result to achieve two underlying goals.- To minimise the risk to the company from potential data misuse (Data Defence) and To maximise the business value generated through more efficient and effective use of our data. This drives our Digital Transformation and powers our growth (Data Offence).Description :The role has three main accountabilities :- Define, execute and embed the data quality end to end strategy, delivering the foundations needed to fuel our analytical products and drive trust and utilization of our data across the whole organisation.- Drive process excellence by defining and embedding a strong enterprise data quality governance within the Data Lake to properly govern our internal, 2nd and 3rd party data assets and to ensure we have end to end quality from source (data provider) to product.- Embed Data Quality end to end with in D&A and business to drive data is created first time right.- Specifically, this role will be the lead for data quality and will be responsible to drive data quality.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to :(i) Drive cultural shift around data within the organisation;(ii) Own interdependent activities and bias towards delivery for high impact work.- Mobilize Data Quality squads to stabilize data quality in the Unilever Azure Data Lake across all priority markets and products- Build the foundations and framework to implement data governance and quality in-market teams- Design, implement and track key DQ metrics- Implement more pilots / use cases using data quality tooling.- Accountable for overall engagement with Markets, Products teams along with delivery of DQ solutions.- Work closely with the Azure platform and related IT partnering teams within Unilever to land and upscale the DQ solutions.- Participate in exploration of tools in the market with enhanced features and evaluate fit for purpose to current environment.- Engage with senior stakeholders and leadership teams in communicating the program status in-line with the larger organization data strategy.- Manage a large team of augmented resources from various vendor partners.Profile :KEY REQUIREMENTS :- The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded analytics professional.- They will have a good knowledge of operations and value chain in a consumer goods company, that is complemented by working knowledge of data management, data strategy, data quality , data governance and emerging technologies required to deliver a world class data service.- Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and ability to work with peers and demonstrate vertical and lateral influence and will enjoy rolling their sleeves up to drive towards outcomes.Relevant Experience :- Overall experience of 8-10+ years preferred- Experience in driving business value realisation from data and business intelligence preferred- Strong track record of working with senior business leadership to drive definition, alignment, and support for application of data driven analytics to address complex business questions- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously in a highly VUCA and competitive market- Proven competency in managing and developing teams- Data Governance & Quality understanding preferred- Azure experience preferredJob Offer :- Rewards and benefits are just one part of the reason Unilever is a great place to work.
