With team members in India and California, we are leading one of the world s largest multi-channel technology development programs.Your Opportunity:As a part of the International Canada DevOps team you will impact the shopping of our customers to build solutions that will enable a seamless, highly scalable omni-channel experience for a multi-billion dollar enterprise. You impact the business directly in driving technology strategies to enable the customer with the best user experience. You work with fellow engineering teams, bridging the gap between Engineering, Platforms, Networking and Site Reliability worlds.You Goal:As a Senior DevOps Engineering Manager, your goal is to build and lead a top class team that builds, Operates, and delivers common-benefit tooling, proactively anticipates, eliminates and handles production application issues, researches and makes tuning recommendations for improved application efficiency, identify and strengthen resiliency patterns, and leverages best practices across teams.Your Responsbility:As a Senior DevOps Engineering Manager I for Walmart International, you would be responsible for

1. Embracing the latest DevOps Practices and Tools into the organization.
2. Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development and deploy processes
3. Build, develop and guide high-performing talent for DevOps. Define a long term talent strategy cutting across technology. Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities for associates who report into you.
4. Reduce the time to setup and time to deploy applications
5. Reduce the cost - CPU/ memory/ capacity utilisation
6. Establish robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines from code commit to production deployment
7. Provide self-serve tools to engineering teams to onboard to these continuous delivery pipelines
8. Provide immutable infrastructure and enable provisioning of environments on a need by need basis
9. Leverage Open Source Tools, Walmart Internal tools, Tools from other markets. Explore open source and other options to meet our automation requirements.
10. Ensure leverage and standardize adoption of tools and best practices across International markets.
11. Build observability into micro services ecosystem for tracing and debugging
12. Ensure High Availability and solidify plans for Disaster Recovery
13. Reduce MTTD(Mean Time to Detect) and MTTR(Mean time to Recover) for production Issues.
14. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Your Qualifications:

• An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream Computer Science preferred.
• 11+ years of relevant experience with the following skills
• Data Centres and Azure public Cloud Migration
• Building Platforms - IaaS, PaaS
• Build Tools like Git, TFS, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, JIRA etc.
• Deployment - Docker, Kubernettes, Chef, Ansible, Linux scripting, App/Web Server install automation etc
• Solid scripting skills - shell script, python
• Monitoring Medusa, Sensu etc., Log Management tool- Splunk, Elastic Search, Kibana etc.
• Performance monitoring tools - Dynatrace etc
• Network and Application Security
• Good verbal and written communication and experience in driving highly motivated teams
• Prior experience of leading DevOps/ Platform teams is a must.
