Job Description

*The Trainer is a Sales Enablement / Learning professional that trains and coaches targeted sales and pre sales teams internally or externally (with Channel partners). The role will involve end to end delivery of training, skills, tools and processes. The role will also involve specific Training content needs analysis, design and development of training content. This will need to be managed as a Program / Project. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES, DELIVERABLES AND METRICS:

  • Trainer Act as a Trainer internally (to Schneider Electric Sales and pre sales teams) and also to partners. These trainings would cover knowledge, skills, methodology, tools etc. The trainings will be delivered face to face, Instructor led Virtual sessions as well as recordings (delivered digitally in an On Demand way).
  • The role would also involve coaching visits along with sales or pre sales teams in a physical or virtual way (via Video calls)
  • Delivers trainings that satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners (both internal and external) across a wide variety of platforms (e.g., instructor-led training, live events, produced videos, online courses, quick reference guides, job aids, performance support walkthroughs, etc.).
  • Subject Matter Expertise The trainer will be a Subject Matter Expert in a specific subject like 3 Phase Power protection (UPS systems etc.), Datacenter systems (Power, cooling, Racks etc), Distributed UPS systems etc.
  • Aligns closely with an internal Line of Business, and be well versed in their applications, customers, Go-to-Market strategies, offer roadmaps etc.
  • Works with key stakeholders, internal sales and pre sales leaders to understand their needs to adapt the Content for deployment
  • Develops detailed project plans for deployment of trainings for a specific targeted group
  • Program Manage /Project Management: Gathers needs and creates a Program to develop learnings / trainings working internally as well as with vendors
, *REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor s Degree, and / or 7+ years of industry experience.
  • Specialization or Engineering in a specific field like Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communications will be preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, delivery, and classroom facilitation.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in 3 Phase Power (UPS systems), Datacenter systems (Power, Cooling, Racks etc.), Distributed UPS systems etc. is key
  • High level skills and experience in Education, Training and Enablement
  • Experience delivering training and adapting training materials.
  • Good stage presence. Should have done trainings delivery Face to Face as well as Instructor led Virtual sessions for large groups upto 50 persons
  • Certified Trainers as per large Trainings Organisations like Richardson, Mercuri International, Miller and Heiman will be a definite plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate with individuals from around the world.
  • Required experience managing global teams and establishing team frameworks.
  • Agility and ability to participate in special projects as needed, as well as support sudden business critical tasks.
  • Dynamic with the ability to successfully work both independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
  • Some travel required. Working across time zones will be required.
