Arctic simplifies hybrid cloud by making customers vSphere infrastructure to be hybrid cloud ready - making it easy for customers to move workloads between their vSphere infrastructure and VMC on AWS or other VCPP Partners.Job descriptionvCenter Hybrid Cloud Services (India) team is seeking a passionate, strong Lead Engineer to participate in the design and implementation of the next generation vCenter product portfolio which will enable vSphere Cloud Subscription to provide customers with cloud like management and operations of their vCenter and vSphere, taking away the burden of lifecycle management of vCenter, making it highly available with VMware delivered and managed vCenter. As part of the offering, customers benefit with keyless license management and paying VMware or partners, based on usage. This enables customers to move their virtual machines between on-prem vSphere on Subscription and to Service Providers in the process increasing or decreasing their usage of on-prem vSphere and paying based on what they use.As a senior technical member of the team, you will be expected to lead the team in the design, architecture, and implementation of high quality, well-architected software products with a specific focus on cloud, distributed systems, scalability, elasticity and SLA rollups into each component. In this role, you are expected to interact with Senior Architects, Product Managers, Solution Architects and occasionally, with Partners and customers to discuss and collaborate strategies for enhancing features and to come up with the next-generation products.
