Roles and Responsibilities:RAPID brands operate across various vertical ranging from Men Casual Wear, Women Western Wear, Women Ethnic, Loungewear, & Kids. Candidate will work for Design function of Kidswear vertical.Responsibilities: Able to handle diverse product categories in Kidswear like woven, knits, denim, outerwear etc for both Boys wear and Girls wear. Working on conceptualization of the range (research seasonal trends, colours, prints, fabrics, and styling) Utilizing technology tool to identify the latest trends for design inspiration. Working on fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments and follow up for approvals. Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design using computer-aided design (CAD) in sync with the product costing range. Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and silhouettes. Participate in business initiatives (product launch, Visibility improvement, Consideration improvement, Competition benchmarking, Drop/ Style performance etc)Qualifications & Experience: Around 1-3 years experience from NIFT/FMS/ NID into Design into Kidswear / Apparel Design from a good kidswear brand / Retailer. Love for Design and speed to quickly turn ideas into reality. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendar and handle work independently. Ability to work in fast pace & dynamic environment along with Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, strong communication, articulation of ideas and a team player. Good verbal & written communication skills High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and basics of Excel and Powerpoint.,
