Job Description

Role :Your level of responsibility will entail that you work on the brief given to you by the team. You will be responsible for conceptualizing for the briefed clusters and developing new styles, prints and garments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCluster development:

  • Studying the overall cluster shared by category team and planning prints & bodies as per no.of options.
  • Designing the entire clusters as per brief shared WRT the required minimum order quantityin terms of solids, prints and trims.
  • Designing prints/embroidery for all the clusters assigned with in the timelines.
  • Sketching/VLP drafting in accordance with the brief finalized with category team
  • Presenting your work to design heads and category team with confidence.
  • Experiment with color, fabric and texture.
  • Coordinate (if needed) with sourcing for any design related queries.
Handover fulfilment:
  • Handover the error free dockets as per the option plan shared by category team.Incorporating comments suggested by your manager & developing final print/ embroideryspec sheet.
  • Upload final dockets, artwork files & VLP in Google drive and PLM.
  • Complete handover of hard copies/digital copies of dockets (style details, fabric details, trimdetails, style & trims reference images, measurement sheet, true-scale & full-scale artworksheet with pantones techniques) with fabric quality swatch card, trims swatch card &actual samples.
  • Preparing stock docket handover.
Adherence to GTM and internal deadlinesMeeting all the deadlines as per calendar and internal deadlines, ensuring quality of work withall steps followed.Qualifications & Experience
  • We expect you to have at least 1-3 years of experience in the industry .
  • NIFT/Pearl pass out preferred.
  • A proactive approach & love for speed
  • An eye for color and a feel for fabrics and materials
  • Technical skills, including pattern making
  • Garment technology skills and knowledge
  • Team working skills
