Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer

  • Design, Implementation, validation and delivery of Solutions customized for Telco customers
  • Lead solution teams and collaborate with Product, QA and documentation teams
  • Create reference architectures, white papers and other literature for customers

  • Proven expertise in design, high availability deployment, validation of 4G EPC, VoLTE, 5G Core elements with exposure across virtualization or container platforms like Vmware, Openstack, kubernetes, RHOCP etc.
  • Extensive experience with docker, kubernetes, Software defined networking based solutions design, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure networking L2 and L3 routing, switching protols like, but not limited to BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN, GRE, LACP etc.
  • Extensive experience with functional/performance validation and scale testing for 4g/5g core nework elements
  • In-depth understanding of Telco Clouds, public cloud technologies as well as hyperscalers cloud model
  • Experience with Python / Golang programming/scripting and automation frameworks like pytest, ROBOT etc.
  • Proven expertise with design / maintenance with multi vendor CI/CD pipeline and devops model
Desirable Requirements
  • B.E./B. Tech/ MCA with at least 12 - 15 years of experience or M.E./M. Tech in Computer Science with similar experience
  • Experience with 4G/5G core elements design and deployment from leading vendors like Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia
  • Extensive experience with leading Orchestration platforms and Telecom Cloud platform distributions like Windriver
  • Knowledge of Modern software development processes including DevOps models, continuous integration, continuous testing, agile development with Jira/Git/Bitbucket/Confluence or similar platforms
