Job Description

    As part of our Product Development organization for Nasdaq Governance Solutions, you will be building state of the art software for high profile Boards and Leadership teams, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting tools for corporations around the world. You will collaborate in an agile environment with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together, you will be bring a customer-centric approach to the ideation, design and delivery of new products and features.Researches, ideates, designs, tests, validates and measures solutions to meet client needs and business goals through new and existing applications, using established best practices for software design and user experience.Collaborates with product personnel, business stakeholders, technology representatives and various functions to define product strategy, goals and objectives, and to create/refine application requirements to achieve the product plan.Creates navigation structures and information designs, and constructs prototypes, storyboards and mockups to effectively communicate designs to product management and development.Works closely with technology representatives as products are being developed to ensure accuracy and quality.Use research-based design practices, ensuring our work meets needs and solves real problems for our customers, while also aligning with our overall business strategyWork closely with our cross functional team across Product, Business, Technology, Sales, Client Success, and Marketing.Apply best practice design tools and processes to help conceive, test, and bring solutions to life for our customers, creating intuitive user experiences for desktop and mobile platforms.Produce effective design output, progressing iteratively through user personas, journey mapping, initial concepts, wireframes, information architectures and navigation models, prototypes, and high fidelity deliverables, to uncover the best possible solutions.Work with, adhere to, and contribute to our growing and evolving enterprise design system.Closely collaborate with development teams to ensure our final output meets the high standards of Nasdaqs brand.Gathers and synthesizes client, competitor and industry data to guide product designCommunicates and presents user needs and design solutions to key stakeholdersEducation Required: Degree qualified in a discipline related to Human Computer Interactions, Graphic Design, Information Systems or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree in related field or business helpful.Experience Required: 5 or more years in a user experience design role.Knowledge of design fundamentals including information design, visual design, industry UI standards for desktop, web-based and mobile applications, and has knowledge of usability best practices.Special Qualifications: Proficiency with wireframing, prototyping and/or interface design software, such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD or Balsamiq, and general knowledge of graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop.,
