Selling Partner Financial Technology (SPFT) is responsible for two major elements of Amazon s automated financial systems: (1) through our Contra-CoGS (Contrary to the Cost of Goods Sold) services, we lower Amazon Retail s cost structure by enabling collection of funding from Vendors for agreements relating to Amazon s purchase, customer sales and/or marketing of their inventory, and (2) Payments as a Product for Partners (P3) provides services responsible for ensuring all 3P, Comingled (3P + Retail), and Foreign Exchange transactions are processed accurately, timely, and completely to ensure Seller balances, reports, and Amazon financials are accurate.As a senior product manager, you will drive our vision, strategy, and product roadmap for financial experience products that allow selling partners globally to operate at scale. For example, you will own the roadmap for 13+ vendor applications, which are the fundamental for Amazon to deliver to our Selling Partners, a best in class experience for managing their finances, a global view of their financials and the ability to act on their data via streamlined and consistent web and mobile experiences.The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what selling partners value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and exert influence to align diverse stakeholders. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Candidates must dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. This is a highly strategic position that will impact the direction of SPFT going forward.Responsibilities include: Work with the leadership team to set strategy, define the product, and make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch. Use case prioritization, feature definition, ownership of the product roadmap, and customer segmentation. Engage with partner teams to identify integration opportunities and drive product initiatives. Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints., 6+ years product management and/or business leadership experience in a technology context Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities Bachelor s degree required; MBA/MS preferred Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members Proven ability to make smart feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs; experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value Effectively mentorship of product manager growth Experience operating in a global environment
