Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job PurposeWe are seeking an outstanding scientist with a strong background in Cell Biology to join our Biology team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Cell Biology with extensive laboratory experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to handle Human iPSCs/ESCs (including propagation, passaging, freezing and Thawing).
  • Able to gene edit (knock in and knock out) human iPSCs using CRISPR/CAS9 and Cpf1.
  • Able to handle lenti viral transductions of iPSCs or transfecction (Nucleofection) of iPSCs.
  • Flow cytotmetry/IHC based analysis of characterization of iPSCs.
  • Cell line maintenance
  • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
  • Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
Educational Qualification:
  • Ph.D. in stem cell biology/cell biology and a minimum of 1-2 years of post Ph.D. academic or industry experience.
  • M.Sc with 10 years of experience in academic or reputed R&D companies with a Research environment emphasis on gene editing (preferably in iPSCs)
Technical/functional Skills:
  • Advanced computer proficiency.
  • Use of spreadsheet and word processing software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, GRAPH PAD.
Experience:
  • M.Sc with 3-6 years of experience post qualification
  • Ph.D with 1-3 years of experience post qualification
Behavioral Skills:
  • Ability to work with co workers and outside agencies professionally.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and ability to communicate effectively with high transparency is essential.
  • Interpersonal skills with an emphasis on working in a team environment to accomplish impactful results.
