Job Description

The IDC workforce comprises of various product engineering teams, working on development of software and hardware components of cutting-edge products for, Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility, measuring 120 KRadiometer Medical is seeking a product security engineer to assist in the design and management of product security solutions for our medical devices. You will be working in a team with software developers, designers, SW testers and product owners. This position will be responsible for our routine updates and patch process for multiple platform operating systems, enhance product security and play an important role in the quality of our overall product cybersecurity program.Key Responsibilities

  • Create design, code and unit test modules/components.
  • Develop software requirements from product requirements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements (both explicit and implicit) of the system under development
  • Investigate software and system problems using a variety of techniques and provides innovative solutions.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in Medical Domain.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in developing software using Visual C++, knowledge with Visual Basic 6.0 as well.
  • Experience in developing medical device software and working knowledge of FDA Quality Systems Regulation is desirable.
Must
  • Good programming knowledge in VC++/C++ & Visual Basic 6.0
  • Good knowledge of object oriented (OOPS) concepts
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in software development with a good hands-on VC++/C++ & Visual Basic 6.0 development skills.
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete projects.
  • Passionate about the team, customers, quality, sharing knowledge and collaborating across teams.
  • Excellent teaming skills to work with cross functional and in a multi-site software teams.
  • Supportive of roles played by team members in a scrum team e.g. scrum master, proxy product owner and manager.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, in working with co-workers and stakeholders.
  • Is self-aware.
  • Is a team player.
  • Has a strong work ethic.
  • Works as a team member in the spirit of Agile Engineering
