The Opportunity Wireless Software Team in Marvell works on Marvells OCTEON Fusion product line. The team owns all Wireless R&D activities including Software Architectue, Design, Development, Test, Program Management and DevOps for 5G NR L1 and Fusion SoC deliverables owned by team. Wireless Software Team works on Commercial 4G/5G 5G NR L1, O-RAN Front Haul, L1/BasebandPHY SDK, , Reference L2/L3 SW and Customer Enablement. The team plays lead role in 5G NR L1 design & test, O-RAN FH design & test, Pre/Post Silicon design & test , L1 capacity, SoC Capacity, Performance & Stability benchmarking, L1 SW validation, E2E integration & test of SW (L1, L2, L3, SDKs), 5G L2/L3 Performance benchmarking/Optimization, Test Automation and DevOps.Responsibilities
• Technical Management of customer specific 5GNR L1 / Baseband SoC QA project(s) being done by Bangalore Wireless SW Team and to manage complete QA activities for set of customers.
• Interface with Architecture, Design and customer support teams to translate customer commitments into product test requirements.
• Work with cross functional teams to plan, manage and execute release schedule and drive timely execution to deliver high quality SW as per Marvell Wireless Infrastructure product roadmap
• Manage test planning , test execution and test improvements.
• Direct and matrix management of engineers.
Responsibilities

Skills and Experience Requirements
• Successful track record of managing and leading a Wireless Modem QA team for at least 5 years.
• Successful track record of testing and delivering high quality modem SW products in 5GNR, LTE or 3G.
• Hands on experience in test planning, test execution, automation framework design, driving test improvements for multicore embedded SoCs and testing of advanced OFDMA Mobile Wireless Standards such as 5G-NR, LTE, LTE-A in L1
• Strong technical project management skills ability to create and maintain a schedule, drive the team to meet it, foresee potential roadblocks and navigate the team to avoid them.
• Strong expertise in tracking and management tools. Ability work with fast-paced and agile environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Expectation is that the candidate will provide regular communication to execution team and key customers on project QA status.
• Strong collaboration skills. The candidate is expected to role model effective teamwork and collaboration within the teams.
• Ability to efficiently Engage with other stakeholders such as the system architecture team, SoC design team.
• Comprehensive understanding of 5GNR, LTE /LTE-Advanced Standards is a must.
• Experience with test equipment such as Signal Generators, VSA, Logic Analyzers is a must
• Strong expertise in Test methodologies, awareness of DevOps, CI/CD, Linux and real-time embedded projects is must.
• Sound theoretical background in Communications and Signal Processing is a plus.
Educational Requirements
• M.Tech/B.Tech in ECE with 15 years of experience
