Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and selfdriven Senior Staff Project Manager to join our team. As a senior staff technical project manager, you will own the development and delivery of various business critical product/solution development projects.

Digital Solutions engineering organization is a global cross functional team developing state of the art NDT software, IIOT and other relevant digital solutions serving the NDT industry. This position is open in the core engineering team that is predominantly based in Bangalore. This team drives development of the core technologies fuelling the growth of the Waygate digital business.

As a Senior Staff technical project manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Work with the development team daily, supporting and driving them to meet the delivery plan
  • Drive Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends within the team

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Proven experience of 5 years in project management in the software development space
  • Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
