Job Description

About the GroupSP access team focus on a wide range of products starting from cell site routers to pre-aggregation and aggregation roles in the network. Our products are primarily targeted to Mobile backhaul market, carrier ethernet and TDM markets. Majority of the mobile operators in India, EU and US are using the products built by this team. SP access team in India is fully responsible for Design and development for all the products.We work on all aspects of developing these boxes from ROMMON, Operating System, system infrastructure, Interface cards, drivers to forwarding features like L2/L3 protocols, MPLS, Segment routing, VPLS. We work on various technology areas like L2/L3 protocols, MPLS, Segment routing, VPLS, TDM, Optical & system side drivers.What kind of people we want

What can you expect The position is in the SP forwarding team, working on L2/L3 new feature support, feature enhancements and sustenance on Broadcom DNX and/or Cisco internal network processors across the Service Provider Access product portfolio.Expertise needed (Mandatory):
  • Working on router, switches.
  • Expert level knowledge of the C/C++ programming.
  • Hands on with Unix/Linux based development environment.
  • Excellent coding and debugging skills commensurate with experience.
  • Ability to work with large legacy code and taking advantage of those.
  • Organization wide technical influence and leadership in multiple of the following areas: Broadcom DNX/J2, J2+, J2C & J2C+, TCP/IP, L2/L3 forwarding, multicast, routing protocols, Segment Routing Protocols, EVPN.
Expertise needed (Preferred):
  • Prior IOS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR experience.
  • Working on Datapath of routers and switches
  • Prior experience of working on Network Processors
  • Deployment knowledge of router and switches.
  • Prior experience of Cisco products.
  • Python / Any scripting language.
