  1. SR. TECHNICAL WRITING & PUBLISHING SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Technical Writing & Publishing Specialist will be responsible for creating, updating, revising and publishing technical documentation for 3 Phase Line of Business, part of Secure Power Division, including: installation, operation, and service manuals in close cooperation with Schneider Electric s Research & Development, Offer Management and Technical Writing teams. The Sr. Technical Writing & Publishing Specialist will own and manage the complete end-to-end technical documentation development process from collection of inputs through review to publication internally and externally according to global Schneider processes. The Sr. Technical Writing & Publishing Specialist will be writing the content in English and creating the supporting 2D/3D graphics and technical illustrations.
  1. SR. TECHNICAL WRITING & PUBLISHING SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master s degree in English, preferably combined with Technology/Engineering degree or specialization in technical English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience with technical writing in global technology company
  • Passionate about delivering high quality, customer-centric, easy-to-use technical documentation
  • Experience transforming complex technical information into easily understandable content
  • Works well in a dynamic environment and is able to engage many stakeholders based across different locations and different time zones
  • Ability to manage projects simultaneously ensuring on-time, on-quality, on-budget delivery
  • Experience using XML-based editor: Arbortext Editor preferred
  • Experience with content management system (CMS): Windchill preferred
  • Experience converting complex 3D models to simple 2D graphics: Arbortext IsoDraw preferred.
  • Digital mindset, understanding of digital customer journey and experience with integration between web and technical content are a plus
  • Experience creating technical informative How-to-use videos is an advantage
