Job Description

Major Responsibility/ Job Responsibility:

  • Strong knowledge of Test Case Designing
  • Hands on experience of Manual Testing
  • Perform Peer review of test artefacts.
  • Prepares test results reports and communicates progress to the Test Lead/Test Manager
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation plan. Escalate issues in a timely manner to the Test Lead/PM
  • Exposure to Test Automation (Test complete or Selenium)
  • Self-learner willing to experiment with latest tools & technologies
  • Team player, willing to take responsibility and contribute
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile development
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good knowledge on Retail (Optional) .
Key Result Areas:
  • Requirement analysis, System, Integration, Functional & Regression Test Case Design
  • System, Integration, Functional & Regression Testing
  • Bug tracking and Management
  • Timely delivery of assigned tasks with defined quality
Necessary Qualification/ Technical Skills:
  • 2-4 years of total IT experience
  • Hands on experience of Manual Testing
  • Good knowledge on SQL or PL/SQL for MySQL, Oracle database
Desirable:
  • Experience in short release cycles & full software life cycle.
  • Entire STLC knowledge
  • Demonstrated analytic, communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
