We work on innovative cloud applications. Our applications are productively used by customers, powered by state-of-the-art technologies, and provide cloud qualities such as elastic scaling and high availability. Addressing climate change and sustainability has moved to the top of priorities for many companies. A new sustainability solution by SAP will enable our customers to address this global and urgent issue. The solution shall help them assess, analyze, and act on the CO2 footprint of their products and operations, on their journey towards a sustainable, low-carbon economy. As part of the sustainability project the SAP S/4HANA Sustainability team develops cloud native applications and services to support our customers in understanding and acting on their sustainability impact in all relevant business processes. The sustainability framework will be seamlessly integrated with all major SAP offerings like SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and others.The Role We are looking for a passionate user experience design specialist to join our sustainability team focussing on the following tasks: Contribute to the success of our customers by supporting our team to design the experience of a completely new sustainability framework, embedding sustainability into daily business processes Apply Design Thinking and Lean UX principles, moderate workshops and validation sessions Collaborate with product owners, developers and technical writers to translate user needs into intuitive user experiences Create wireframes and prototypes to validate ideas, test their usability, iterate on concepts and support development activities Role Requirements Bachelor s degree in user interface design, interaction design, human computer interaction or related field Three years of experience as a user experience designer in context of web-based software development Experience with design tools such as Axure, Sketch, InVision, Framer or Adobe Creative Cloud to create software interface prototypes Strong communication skills in written and verbal English (C1 or better) What we consider beneficial: Experience with Design Thinking and Lean UX methodologies - e.g. workshop facilitation, validation sessions Experience in applying UX research methods - design of experiments, moderation, note taking and data synthesis Experience with agile software engineering processes (Kanban, Scrum) in context of enterprise software development Business knowledge about sustainability efforts of enterprise companiesWHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
