Job Description

    Preferred Education Qualification:Degree in Arts/Science/Engineering/Commerce/Business/FinanceRequired Experience: - 4-7 years of experience in Onpage, Offpage, Technical SEORoles & Responsibilities: - Strategy & Category Management: - Shaping strategy of organic traffic growth and presence on SERPs for the allocated categories - Own the SEO roadmap and prioritization of SEO-focused projects that allow us to meet short-term and long-term distribution goals for the allocated categories - Manage a full time & remote team, providing guidance and support to ensure functional priorities are being met, while individuals are also growing in their SEO knowledge and expertise - Serve as a cross functional thought partner representing SEO on strategy, tactics and execution for the allocated categories - Building systems & processes for SEO-focused content editorial calendar to increase content relevance & engagement - Recommending specific on-page content optimizations, net new content, and topics that will drive external links - Partner with content creators on execution, Microinfluencers, on-page optimizations, recommendations/expert consultation on page structure, etc - Ensure content marketing initiatives account for SEO goals as appropriate, and executed in line with SEO guidelines and best practices set by the Content Manager. - Help manage agency relationships, and coordinate the implementation of viable recommendations - Perform Content Development Planning for all the Categories along with the Content Team Data, Reporting: - Dive into SEO-relevant data to transform data sets into actionable insights and develop tactical next steps to drive organic growth for the allocated categories in the Tuition BUTechnical: - Owning our link strategy and managing the execution of optimizing links as part of our pillar-cluster model for the allocated categories in the Tuition BU - Working with our web development team and Product team on the process for linking old content + linking new content to a cluster (automate and scale this) - Improve page load times across our core pages and web properties - Proactively monitor Google algorithm trends for mobile and performance - Drive and execute projects such as site audits, migrations, and other SEO specific initiatives - Consultant, internal expert - Provide strategic guidance and critical thinking for SEO initiatives, serving as a key consultant for multiple groups with different goals and processes (e.g. website redesign) - Be the companys internal expert on all things SEO. Partner with content, product, marketing and technical teams across the company to map SEO investments and establish standards to monitor and report on SEO efforts.
