Job Description

System Administrator would be responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. He would be contributing to the technical research and development to drive innovation within the infrastructure. He should ensure that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.Roles & ResponsibilitiesPRIMARY1To design, install, and administer virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V) products.2ITIL: Incident Management, Change Management & CAB participation3Perform Active Directory Management and routine administrative tasks4Performed cross platform audits of Active Directory (AD) objects and userpermissions5Managed Group Policy Objects (GPOs) throughout the Active Directory (AD)enterprise6Developed organizational units in Active Directory (AD) and managed usersecurity with group policies7Maintained and managed Domain Name Service (DNS) for Active Directory (AD)enterprise8Managing windows updates.9Understanding Security weaknesses, Investigating and Mitigating securityvulnerabilities across different operating platforms.10Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows operating SystemsSECONDARY1Monitor client systems daily and pinpoint problem areas. On a less frequentbasis, update drivers, servers, and firmware with newer technology2Knowledge of Patching ESXi boxes and Windows systems.3Creating, Managing & troubleshooting Veeam Backup4Trend or any Antivirus administration knowledgeSkills required

  1. Experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting Windows Server 2008, 2008R2 and 2012 in an Enterprise environment
  2. Experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting VMWare ESXi 6.5 or higher
  3. Experience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, Sites and Services
  4. working knowledge of TCP/IP networking is required.
  5. knowledge on monitoring tool like Solarwind
  6. knowledge on Trend or antivirus solutions.
  7. Good knowledge on Security vulnerabilities & mitigation is a plus
  8. Experience managing Backup through Veeam application is a plus
Experience range8 to 10 years experience as a System and/or Server AdministratorEducational Qualification
  1. Bachelors Degree in an IT-related discipline (preferred)
  2. MCSA/MCSE certification preferred.
