Job Description

Customer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex systems.Primary Job Responsibilities:Must have minimum 10yrs experience in Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and DeploymentMust have 8 to 14 yrs of technology related experience in Monitoring technologies, Big data backup strategies and Virtualization environments.Minimum 5yrs of experience in Big Data Consulting and associated management roles is a mustMust have at least 10yrs hands on experience on Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Python/Scala and SQLETL/ELT experience is a must.Provide architecture and solutioning help in large scale distributed systems, especially those involving Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases and analytical programming languages (Python is preferred).Analyze multiple sources of structured and unstructured data to propose and design data architecture solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity.Conceptualize and visualize data frameworks.Expertise in Cloud Based (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure) solutions and platforms is a must.Experience with Orchestration and monitoring tools such as Apache Airflow and Cloud Composer.Exposure to Data Governance, Security and Data management best practices is a must.The candidate should have at least 10yrs experience in the following software/tools:

  • Must have experience in Data modeling and data monitoring
  • Must have experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Spark SQL, Kafka, etc.
  • Must have experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, HBase, Redis and Cassandra.
  • Must have experience in any ETL tools
  • Must have experience with SQL query engine like Presto, KSQL,
  • Must have experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
  • Must have experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
  • Must have experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
  • Must have experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
