Job Description

*PositionService Delivery Manager - SAPAvailability FromJan 2021QualificationDiploma/Bachelor/Master DegreeLevelT6Experience12-15 Yrs.Work LocationBangalore24x7 ShiftsNo Expected to be available during customer business hoursJob ResponsibilitiesThe delivery manager is responsible for the delivery management and improvement of IT services in his area of technical domain to support the business and meet user needs, using a set of well-defined best practices. He/she standardizes the change process and communicates to business partners accordingly and also has the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure planning of changes in according to standards defined
  • Ensure change success rate is managed and Improvements tracked
  • Ensure release and deployment processes are defined, followed, implemented and measured for SAP delivery
  • Ensure up to date CMDB according to defined standards and processes in order to comply to all internal audits
  • Verify that invoice information provided by the TAF Partners and other providers is matching to the services provided
  • Hardening and compliance management for SAP
  • Ensure providers have the correct SAP Infra sizing [ Storage, CPU & Memory sizing & planning for new builds ]
  • Oversee SAP Upgrade, SAP Implementation, S/4 HANA implementation / Migration related activities performed by provider
Key deliverables:
  • Aligned changes among all parties
  • Regular Change communication to all involved parties
  • Accurate CMDB for invoicing across suppliers
Required Skills
  • High customer orientation
  • Can assess new changes with regards to correctness and completeness
  • Knows methods ensuring quality
  • Knows the methods and concepts to ensure operation even if one of the components fails
  • Experience in process analysis and process optimization
  • Experience with operational processes according to ITIL
  • Experience in the moderation and conflict resolution of heterogeneous, partly interdisciplinary groups
  • High methodological competence in particular good knowledge and experience in project management
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills for structuring complex issues
  • Strong self-initiative and independence
  • Expertise in using business consulting methods, tools and standards, and can apply them independently
  • Is capable to transfer best practices, experiences and knowledge to others
  • Communicates clearly, precisely, convincingly and appropriately to the situation
  • Sovereignty in dealing with stakeholders in an intercultural project environment
  • Advanced level of English
  • Has strong technical knowledge on:
    • SAP BASIS Administration including DB knowledge [ Oracle / HANA DB & MaxDB]
    • OS- DB Migrations / HANA Migrations / Installation, Upgrades, fixes and patching and Management of SAP services & instances
    • Monitoring and operational Support of Business Critical SAP Systems
    • Hardening and compliance management
    • SAP Infra sizing [ Storage, CPU & Memory sizing & planning for new builds ]
    • SAP Implementation skills including new installations , sizing , blueprinting & scoping knowledge
    • S/4 HANA implementation / Migration
    • DB upgrades - Multiple DBs [Oracle / HANA]
    • Administration Knowledge on new dimensional products - PI or PO / SRM / EP / BI etc
    • HANA SCALE UP /SCALE OUT configurations (In Single tenant and multitenant databases) - Experience in setting up HANA Replication & HANA HA & HANA Scale out / Scale UP systems & table distribution/Partioning in ERP/BW systems. - Knowledge on SAP Netweaver Java stacks [ including Classic Java 7.0 ] & SAP Netweaver 7.5
