You will be responsible for providing technical support to site service engineer for troubleshooting activity i.e. hardware or software and coordinating with stake holder to correct hardware/software issues as per requirement of customer as well as for improvement of product.Your responsibilities

  • Applying expertise to understanding the converter logic as well as improvement proposed to related stake holder for product improvement.
  • Conducting software validation test and ensuring product performance test in lab/ field level.
  • Discussing and suggesting parameter regarding fine-tune the software depend on the field analysis.
  • Providing technical support to service engineer as well as to the customers.
  • Leading and supporting troubleshooting activities on installed base.

Your background
  • A Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Electrical Engineering completed by reputed university.
  • Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in phase electric locomotives products and services.
  • Must have team leading capability & handled a team.
  • Must have demonstrable expertise in troubleshooting of rolling stock equipment, fault finding analysis in terms of drive train (preferably IR 3 phase Electric locomotives, Conventional Electric locomotives, EMU and Metro will be added advantage).
  • Must have expertise in troubleshooting of IGBT based propulsion system as well as auxiliary, battery charger and propulsion of EMU and metros.
  • Good understanding of electrical installations in rail vehicles (Knowledge on Electrical Locomotive/EMU/Metro is an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of protocols like CAN open, J1939, Ethernet (TCPIP/UDP/TRDP), MVB is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the globe.
  • Willingness to perform commissioning tasks at sites (approx. 30% of working hours).
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi both written and spoken, other languages are an advantage.
