Job Description

Description

Infoblox is seeking a Salesforce Support Developer to join our IT Applications team in Bangalore, India. This is a critical role supporting the Salesforce application which includes Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role reports to the Director, IT Applications based in Bangalore.

The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Renewals, Channels, Support, and Marketing team to support existing and new business processes as well as system functionality. They will be expected to implement repeatable and scalable business processes based on best practices in collaboration with all functional stakeholders while maintaining an emphasis on the integrity of the systems. Previous handson experience in Salesforce and CPQ will be the key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting day to day sales, marketing, channels, service cloud, order management support issues, and maintenance
  • Responsible for resolving all support queries, that relates to salesforce access to supporting all business process in Salesforce
  • Responsible for supporting the month-end and quarter-end close process
  • Coordinate with onshore application team for critical issues, design analysis, and enhancement
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, workflow, etc
  • Monitor new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Customize reporting and dashboards for various teams
  • Support users Business Analysts to troubleshoot application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needs
  • Responsible for building enhancements of salesforce application and maintaining them
  • Responsible for supporting all Integration and CPQ (Steel brick) related issues and process

Requirements:

  • 7 years in a Salesforce development role; including Apex and Visualforce development
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
  • Demonstrated competency in Object-oriented programming
  • Experience in SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST-based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScript
  • Experience working with Salesforce communities, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Lightning, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, WorkBench, Data Loader, Ant tool, Reports, and Dashboards
  • Experience with building and maintaining Custom Objects, and integrating Salesforce with external systems
  • Proficient in Salesforce administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email alerts, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks, and Events
  • Experience in CRM Business processes like Forecasting, Campaign Management, Lead Management, Pipeline Management, Order Management, Account Management, Case Management, Quote Management, Contract Management
  • Knowledge of Steelbrick CPQ objects used in the Quote to Order process is added advantage
  • Experience in designing Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Work Flows, and Approval Processes for automated alerts, field updates, and Email generation according to application requirements
  • Experience in working with relational databases
  • Experience working across various Salesforce implementation covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ(Steelbrick) and App-exchange applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail, superb organization skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing (including documentation)
  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, assignments being aware of the workload, and able to set own priorities to meet deadlines

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or equivalent IT experience
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201)
  • Certified Salesforce Developer (DEV 401)
