Job Category: Software EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSoC PM Firmware Engineer/ DeveloperJob DescriptionThis position is for the development of SoC Power management firmware for managing power/energy efficiently for Datacenter SoC products, with focus on active power management, idle power management, thermal management. The responsibility includes:- understanding hardware/firmware architecture specifications and formulating directed/constrained-random/concurrency test scenarios- coding in C++/Python leading to high quality firmware release- reviewing and guiding test environment components including checkers, assertions in C++/Python- debugging of failures at both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments; and improving the debug infrastructure for firmware debug- automation, regression of testing through scripting and triaging of test failures- coming out with validation strategy, validation planQualifications- Prior Experience in SoC development / Embedded systems is mandatory.
