Job Description

    Job summaryAmazon has spent years building one of the world s most efficient and optimized supply chains. The Amazon Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions Org (ADFS) will build on that foundation and continue to innovate end-to-end supply chain capabilities including exposing it as a service. Excited We are looking for Software Development Managers who are seeking opportunities to apply their past experience to build a completely new experience for the customer. We aim to create a highly technical and entrepreneurial culture and you will help us foster that.,
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • 6+ years of experience in software development
    • 3+ years experience as a direct manager of engineers leading a highly effective team
    • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
    • 5+ years experience leading team developing applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based software
    • Believes in people first, and leads with empathy
    • Customer obsessed with the ability to distill customer requirements into technical solutions
    • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management
    • Strong business and technical vision
    • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
    • Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements, underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solution
